Editor & Writer
Tatiana is a creative writer and a less creative editor. Her journey in the land of English speakers began at the age of seventeen in the ESL classroom in Westchester, NY; continued at Pace University in NYC, where she earned her BA in English and Linguistics; and is now culminating in a Master’s Degree in English: Professional Writing.
Tatiana always had a passion for books and writing. Her favorite authors shaped her worldview. Jack London, Virginia Woolf, Louise Erdrich, Joan Didion, and Carolyn Forche, to name a few. Tatiana adores non-fiction, such as What You Have Heard is True or The Year of Magical Thinking, and modernist fiction works like To The Lighthouse and Orlando.
Editing is less of a job and more of a passion. Even before she was paid for it for the first time, she had been doing it for years. She edited songs for her friends, proofread 30K+ fanfiction (yes, it is in the portfolio), participated in fandom zines, and, finally, worked for Chin Music Press and the University of New Orleans Press as an editorial assistant.
Tatiana is proud to be a prolific fanfiction writer, with over 4K followers on X (formerly Twitter) and around 400K words on Ao3. She is deeply passionate about writing fantasy about princes and dragons, military dramas about dealing with trauma, and a few lighthearted Christmas stories here and there. She also accepts commissions for writing stories.
